Art Classes
I started teaching art classes in 2012. I have taught adults and children, teaching groups and one-on-one lessons. I have taught in several schools and for gifted and talented students in local districts. It has been a joy to work with each individual's specific ideas and desires.

I was homeschooled beginning in first grade, and then on through high-school. As a teenager enthralled with art, my parents wanted to encourage that passion. We soon discovered that it was quite hard to find affordable and available art teachers. I am hoping to help fill that gap and help other young students to achieve their dreams.
Private Classes for Adults
I love to teach adult students who want to grow their artistic talents. Many find that they have something specific that they want to learn. Some students have work or other scheduling conflicts that make it difficult to join group classes. Whatever your goal, I want to help you meet it! One on one lessons can be quite flexible on schedule and content. Whatever you want to learn, I want to help!
Bring out the artist in your child!
I am willing to teach all ages and abilities from beginner to advanced. I am a traditional realist painter and focus on teaching in that manner. I build a foundation using the basics of drawing and shading, and then move onto painting. In group lessons, students have the chance to learn in a fun and fearless environment, and enjoy making beautiful art. Most importantly, I want my students to enjoy themselves and look forward to each new class.
